Composition
The XUBO Engineering Group chooses a gravity sintering method without prior compaction for each geometry.
The metal powder is then filled into the appropriate die and compressed. You can control the pore size of your finished product by adjusting the powder size and the compression pressure used to form it.
Sintering
Sintering gives the porous high-porous material shape stability and the home for a solid metal component. In mainly-created furnaces, the component is sintered. All powder metal products require sintering.
It involves the bonding of powder particles at temperatures below their melting points by combining them. The different grain structures of the original powdered metal are now fully interlinked and form a rigid component after sintering.
AS Coating
The product is a sintered membrane layer, which has been developed over many years. It combines high permeability with low pressure drop and all the benefits of sintered metal filters. The ASymmetric metallic AS membrane is a layer made of high-quality metal powder. It is applied to a cartridge with a coarser porosity support structure.
The service provider is bonded to the metal coating by a second sintering process. This results in an even layer of metal with a density of approximately 200 mm. The membrane layer is much smaller than the support and retains contaminants on the filter surface throughout filtration.
Welding/Customisation
XUBO filters can be modified to fit any application. Sinter-bonded fittings are the best for corrosion resistance and exhaustion.
This is significantly higher than standard bonded constructions and buildings. We also manufacture to your specifications. Our certified in-house welder shop can connect elements that are more important than the standard ones.
