Product Introduction
Titanium material is plastic. The elongation rate for high-purity titanium can be between 50-60% and the section shrinkage can reach 70-80%. However, the shrinkage strength (the strength that is generated when shrinking) is low. the mechanical properties of Grade1 Titanium Strip are greatly affected by the presence of impurities. Interstitial impurities, such as carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen, can significantly increase its strength and decrease its plasticity. You can achieve good mechanical properties in titanium as a structural metal by controlling its impurity content and adding alloying components.
The anti-damping properties of Gr1 titanium foil are strong. Its vibration attenuation period is longer than that of steel and copper metals after it has been subjected both to electrical and mechanical vibration. This property allows titanium foil to be used as a tuning fork or a vibration element in a medical ultrasonic machine. It can also be used as a vibration film in an advanced audio speaker.
Production Method:
Cold rolled
Flat roll belt rolling is the most popular method for manufacturing titanium foil. It has large production, high productivity and high output. For production, you will need a 6-high or 20-high cold roller mill.
Heat treatment
Two main heat treatments for titanium foil are vacuum annealing or continuous online protection. Continuous online protection annealing (annealing titanium foils in continuous online protection) is a recent technology that has been adopted by our company. Vacuum Annealing is more efficient than vacuum Annealing, has a better product quality, and offers a guarantee for the mechanical properties and product quality of titanium foil.
Titanium corrosion resistance
Titanium is resistant to corrosion and does not react with seawater and the atmosphere. It will not be affected by hydrochloric acids below 7% or sulfuric acid beneath 5% at normal temperatures. Only concentrated hydrochloric, concentrated sulfuric, and hydrofluoric acids can cause corrosion. It can be used to perform other functions
